As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences. We are looking for a Naturally Talented chef to run the Kitchen Services in order to prepare memorable Breakfast & Evening Meals for our Guests at the Royal Hotel Elgin. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and ensure that your kitchen is up to the mark, Neatly maintained, efficiently well-stocked and meeting exceptional hygiene standards.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of great food and exceptional service in both preparation and delivery.
You will be expected to be able to:
Prepare and Present Full Scottish breakfast with amazing delicacy and perfection
Display strong communication skills and stay calm under pressure.
Produce menus and new dishes on new occasions, parties and events.
Liaise with bar and restaurant management, waiting staff and suppliers.
Operate and maintain standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
The positions available are full & part-time, on permanent basis.
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Knowledge of best cooking practices and understanding of trends and new styles.
Live-in positions are not available.
