Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards. Collaborate with management on menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and develop kitchen staff. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Pay: 12.23-13.97 per hour
