Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering and have the passion that will delight our guests with great food. This role requires excellent team skills and lone working that is effective and productive while ensuring the highest standards of food production and safety.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Support the design of creative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards.
Address any issues or concerns that arise within the kitchen promptly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment when required.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
