Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Skills
Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary arts.
Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on creativity and presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
