Summary

We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic team at The Lakeside Inn, located in the beautiful and Wear area. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding culinary experiences that align with our mission of excellence in hospitality.

Responsibilities

Oversee kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food production. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency. Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills. Maintain inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory and team management skills. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary arts. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
