Duties



Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and productivity. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.

Experience



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
