Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them to develop their culinary skills. Collaborate with management to optimise kitchen operations and improve service quality. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences.

Pay: 12.80-13.80 per hour
