Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement new cooking techniques and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen setting, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills. Experience in restaurant operations is an advantage. A creative approach to menu development and an understanding of current culinary trends.
