We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management. Maintain food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing offerings. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients. Train new staff members in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety procedures. Monitor the performance of kitchen staff, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a care setting, restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
