Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate chef to join our head chef at The Connaught Bingo Lounge in Herne Bay. The ideal candidate will posses current food safety and hygiene qualifications, experience of prepping and catering for a large number of people, with a commitment to deliver a pleasurable dining experience for all. As a chef with our company you will play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food safety in a fast-paced, confined environment.

Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of food preparation dn kitchen operations to ensure the best quality meals are prepared and presented.

- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen.

- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, informing orders to maintain necessary stock.

- Maintain an organised kitchen environment that promotes safety and efficiency.

Skills

- Strong background in food production and preparation and techniques.

- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes.

-Previous experience in the hospitality or catering industry is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

-Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
