We are excited to recruit a dynamic Chef to develop our Catering Team at The Kirkwood. This is a great opportunity for an innovative and motivated Chef to make a real difference to the lives of service users of the Hospice and the wider Kirklees community that we serve. This role could suit an existing chef looking for a better work life balance.
The post holder should have catering experience, be committed to providing a quality service and a positive attitude towards working within a team. Holding a relevant NVQ level 1 or 2, or equivalent, would be desirable, as well as an awareness of current health & safety and hygiene requirements would be advantageous.

The Kirkwood provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Care and support are also provided for their family members, friends, and carers, both during the illness and after death. Through education, training, and partnership with others, we improve care for everyone affected by a life limiting illness.
