As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences by overseeing food production and ensuring the highest standards of quality and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
