Responsibilities
Help oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards.
Help develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor food production processes to maintain quality control and consistency in dishes served.
Participate in cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
