As a Chef, you will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality food output.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment.
Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary skills.
