Mancia Sicilian Kitchen is seeking a skilled and adaptable individual to join our culinary team. We are a 64-seat casual dining establishment specializing in exceptional pasta, pizza, and a diverse grill selection. We require a candidate with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining our high standards. While experience with traditional Sicilian cuisine is advantageous, we welcome applications from all who can demonstrate the ability to produce quality dishes in a high-volume environment.

We are offering a competitive hourly rate, along with opportunities for skill and career development, suitable for both short-term and long-term commitments. Additionally, full-time employees can anticipate earning an additional 100-300 per month in gratuities.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and customer preferences. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist the head chef with ordering supplies as needed. Work as part of a supportive team, committed to continuous improvement.

Experience

Applicants need demonstrable experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, with a strong grasp of professional kitchen environments, cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated ability to organize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Possessing a strong passion for food production and hospitality, coupled with a keen eagerness to learn and contribute to the team's collective success. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
