Local Restaurant in Kingston Fresh Food Operation*

We are looking for an enthusiastic chef to come and join our team. The successful candidate must be passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen. We will be serving a range of food styles. We are looking for hard-workers, calm under pressure who are comfortable with an open kitchen with a chef's table.

The capacity of the site is 38 covers inside and an additional 12 outside. Open for brunch in the mornings (6 days a week), serving a simple lunch menu and then open Thursday - Saturday in the evenings with a full menu.

Presentation and creativity are really important to us. You will have a chance to work as a team to create some fantastic dishes. We need someone comfortable working solo, so that our Head Chef can have some time off!

Park Brew and Kitchen is a relatively new venture set up by founders Josh and Frankie Kearns of The Park Brewery Ltd, which is an established independent craft brewery based in Kingston upon Thames.

Duties include-

Documenting each morning what the Head Chef requires before preparing the day's dishes Cleaning and organising the food preparation area Prepping the dishes according to the Head Chef's specifications and standards Addressing and resolving diners' and clients' complaints quickly Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure sanitation standards are maintained Ensuring all food products to be prepared are not expired

In-depth knowledge of the kitchen's routines and utensils Ability to grasp and follow the Head Chef's culinary instructions Knowledge of food preparation methods and presentation Knowledge of how to maintain and care for culinary utensils Diplomatic and conflict resolution skills Leadership skills Ability to work under pressure through rapid deadlines

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
