Chef
to join our kitchen team in Lancaster. This is an exciting opportunity for individual who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality food and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
Prepare and cook meals in line with our menu, recipes, and quality standards
Ensure all food safety and sanitation practices are strictly followed
Monitor inventory and order kitchen supplies as needed
Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff; delegate tasks and provide guidance
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing offerings
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment at all times
About You:
Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role is essential
Solid understanding of food preparation techniques and current culinary trends
Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Creative flair for menu development and food presentation
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both team and management
