As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while managing kitchen operations efficiently. Your culinary expertise will help inspire and guide the kitchen staff, ensuring that high standards of food production and hospitality are consistently met.

Duties



Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and excellence. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene within the kitchen. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.75-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
