Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while leading and managing kitchen operations effectively.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all meals are prepared on time and to specification. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration. Monitor kitchen performance, providing feedback and support to team members as needed. Maintain a positive atmosphere in the kitchen, promoting hospitality and excellent customer service.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation. Experience in team management, with the ability to lead by example and motivate others. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 19 per week
