Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will assist the kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation while maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.

The shifts will be evening shifts: 3pm -close (around 9:30pm)

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service. Manage food preparation processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and enhance the overall guest experience. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

Skills

Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques. Effective team management abilities to foster a positive working environment. Experience in food production within a restaurant or similar setting. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
