Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team in preparing delicious dishes for our guests. As we prepare to move into the busier summer season, there is presently both a full-time & a part-time position available, with the latter mostly being evenings & late night weekends.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed
- Ensure food safety & allergen procedures are strictly followed in the kitchen
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Maintain a clean, safe & organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to provide excellent hospitality service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide kitchen staff effectively
- Proficiency in culinary skills and techniques with a focus on food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices within a restaurant setting
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- A passion for the hospitality industry and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
