We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food production, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Five shifts per week Friday/Saturday off in rotation. Kitchen is open from 8.30am to 3.30pm daily
Duties
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with team members to foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork.
Ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals as required, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Skills
Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods relevant to restaurant operations.
Excellent knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, fostering collaboration within the kitchen team.
