We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, menu development, and team management, ensuring that our restaurant delivers exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities



Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and equipment usage. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and address any customer feedback regarding meals.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes across different cuisines. Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for cooking and a desire to continuously improve culinary skills.

Pay: From 15.50 per hour
