Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations. Manage food production processes, including inventory control, portioning, and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and hygiene practices at all times. Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. A passion for cooking, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
