We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, overseeing food safety practices, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on culinary techniques and best practices.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in planning special events or themed nights, contributing creative ideas for menu offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that excite guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
