Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Excellent team management abilities, with experience supervising kitchen staff. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
