Within the UK, ISS delivers facility services through three operating companies - ISS UK Ltd, ISS Facility Services Ltd, and ISS Mediclean Ltd - each focused on specific market segments.



The Chef holds overall responsibility for delivering retail services, which include the preparation, cooking, and service of food for daily menus and special functions.

They are expected to consistently meet the highest standards while ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within defined cost limits, fully complying with client requirements, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain accurate records and complete all relevant documentation Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and fire regulations Assist in preparing reports and documentation within agreed timescales Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction Ensure safe use of mechanical and electrical equipment, PPE, and correct uniform Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and dignity in line with policies and data protection laws Plan and coordinate food orders, adhere to recipes, and ensure timely meal service

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications



Advanced Food Safety qualification Relevant cooking qualification Experience in customer interaction and food handling Experience managing staff Proficient in Microsoft Office Well-organised and able to work under pressure Knowledge of industry legislation
