We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulations. Train and mentor kitchen personnel in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role with a strong background in food production and preparation. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent cooking skills with an eye for detail in food presentation. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with hospitality knowledge. Strong leadership abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: 12.21-20.11 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
