Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. The Chef will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment usage, and food safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality before serving.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Previous experience in menu development is advantageous. Pay: From 13.50 per hour
