Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in West Didsbury.

This job role will have a mix of daytime and evening hours for a true work life balance.

HAUS is an established craft beer, cocktail & wine bar by night that serves incredible freshly made Mexican food & a seasonal brunch menu by day. Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and best practices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Creativity in menu design and presentation, with an understanding of current culinary trends. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

For us, the most important thing is the attitude & willingness to learn, we will prefer a candidate with lesser experience and the right skill set to those more experienced without these traits. Post Coronavirus we are in a rebuilding stage, we will be looking for the candidate to get all our systems back up & running efficiently so we can continue to grow & expand in the future. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour
