We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food production.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
