Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
Coordinate catering services for events, including banquets and private functions.
Monitor food production processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Handle shift management effectively to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
Proven experience in fine dining or restaurant management with a strong culinary background.
Expertise in food service management, including cooking techniques and food handling practices.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff.
Knowledge of inventory management practices and cost control measures.
Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse tastes while considering dietary restrictions.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team and with front-of-house staff.
Familiarity with hospitality principles and customer service excellence in the food industry.
