We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team, to work across our two sites, supporting our head chefs & occasionally covering the running of the kitchen due to holiday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the creativity to develop innovative dishes that delight our guests.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
Oversee aspects of food production, from planning menus to managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. 5 star is the minimum
Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented beautifully.
Manage kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
