We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills while leading a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance.
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Creative flair with a passion for culinary arts and innovation in food preparation.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
