We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food production, with the ability to lead and inspire and work as part of a team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Help Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
Supervise some kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies, minimising waste while maximising quality.
Train new staff in cooking techniques, safety procedures, and restaurant policies.
Assist in the development of special events or themed menus as required.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and food safety standards.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
