We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team while ensuring a harmonious and efficient working environment.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team atmosphere.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in the creation of special events or themed menus as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
