Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food preparation and production with a leaning towards Italian cuisine. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your interpersonal skills will be essential in fostering a positive and efficient working environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Contribute towards the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation Showcase your capabilities of food preparation and cooking techniques Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times Train new kitchen staff on cooking methods, food safety practices, and equipment usage Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Maintain a positive team atmosphere by encouraging collaboration and communication among staff

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary skills Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both kitchen and front-of-house teams Culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
