Shift Pattern:

5 days over 7, 2-week rota (1 weekend in 2)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and motivated

Chef de Partie

to join our friendly team at

Gamecock Barracks

, part of the

ESS - Compass Group

.

You'll play an important role in preparing and serving quality meals for around

200 Service Personnel

across three sites within the barracks. ?


Working within a team of 10, you'll support all aspects of daily kitchen operations to deliver a high standard of service for breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.

Shift Details

Weekly Hours:

35 (includes 30-minute unpaid break)

Shift Pattern:

Mixture of earlies and lates (1 weekend in 2)

Early Shift:

06:30 - 14:00

Late Shift:

12:30 - 20:00

Meal Service Times:

Breakfast: 06:30 - 08:30 Lunch: 12:00 - 13:30 Evening Meal: 17:00 - 20:00 Weekend Breakfast: 08:00 - 08:45 Weekend Brunch: 10:00 - 13:30 Weekend Evening Meal: 16:45 - 17:30

Experience and Qualifications

Experience in a previous Chef or Chef de Partie role - essential

Relevant catering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) - desirable

Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards Strong team player with good communication and time management skills Flexible approach to shift patterns and duties
