Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Prepare high-quality meals while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ordering supplies.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
Collaborate with management on menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience.
Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and leadership.
Experience
Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen environment.
Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others in the culinary field.
