Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
Help create a positive atmosphere that encourages creativity and culinary excellence.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food production processes.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
