Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly to guests
Maintain high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Culinary qualifications or relevant training is preferred
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
