We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team at our Turkish Grill in Prestwich. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and restaurant management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in food preparation and production, ensuring that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen policies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu development is highly desirable. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles.
