Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish development.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Continuously evaluate food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene in the kitchen.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
