Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage the kitchen team effectively and maintain a harmonious working environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating culinary expertise. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent leadership skills. Experience in menu planning, food production, and kitchen management. A passion for cooking with creativity in dish presentation and flavour combinations. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable. Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 43 per week
