We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join the team at Lyons Robin Hood. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of food production and safety standards. As a Chef, you will be responsible for working with the Head chef, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Work with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Collaborate with management to manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during service hours while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen management.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
