We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
- Develop and design innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and flavour in all dishes served.
- Assist in the development of special events or catering menus as required.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in menu planning and food production techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
