Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets the highest standards of quality. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation techniques and presentation. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies. Assist in the development of cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for cooking and understand the needs of the residents.
