Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production within the kitchen. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and available for daily operations. Address any customer feedback or concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Skills

Strong experience in food preparation and production within a restaurant setting. Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development and presentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 14.11-14.72 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
