Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires effective leadership skills to manage kitchen operations and guide a team of cooks in delivering outstanding dishes.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock. Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment. Monitor food quality during production to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in the budgeting process by controlling food costs and minimising waste.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team.
