Duties

Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. Supervise food production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu design and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
